LGBT Issues in the Workplace 
Join us as we explore and discuss the facts and myths around gays in the workplace. Facilitated by Lenora Billings-Harris, this interactive forum will help you discover ways to make your workplace inclusive and LGBT friendly as well as how an inclusive workplace will benefit your organization. Learn common barriers and biases and ways to overcome them.
Lindy Garnette, Executive Director of the YWCA, will present an interactive session to help participants deal with the biases and preconceived notions of the challenges of the LGBT employee.
Shane Burton, Executive Director of Guilford Green Foundation will also give a brief update on Amendment One.
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. (continental breakfast will be served at 7:45 a.m.)
Location: YWCA Building, 1 YWCA Place, Greensboro, NC (behind main branch of the Public Library)
Cost: $5 collected at the door.
