The HR Group Names President and COO
The
HR Group, Inc., a leading human resource consulting firm,
recently named co-founder, Patsy M. Wiggins, SPHR to the
role of President and COO.
Patsy began her HR career at a
Greensboro-based manufacturing company. She has headed HR
departments for financial institutions and hard goods
manufacturing organizations. In 2002, she and David Moff,
SPHR, founded The HR Group, Inc., to provide human resource
consulting, recruiting, training and coaching services to
organizations of all sizes and industries.

Executive Vice President and COO have assisted in making us

in North Carolina,” said partner David Moff, SPHR. “This
deserved shift in responsibilities will strengthen our
day-to-day operations, our relationships and commitments to
our clients and overall business strategy.”
Patsy earned her designation as a Senior Professional in
Human Resources (SPHR), the highest level of professional
certification awarded by the Human Resources Certification
Institute in 1995. She has served two different terms as
President of the Human Resource Management Association of
Greensboro, and has served on the North Carolina State Human
Resource Council. In 1999, Patsy served as co-chair for the
North Carolina SHRM Conference. She is also a member of the
Society for Human Resource Management, its Consultants Forum
and the HR Executive Forum of Greensboro.
Patsy is a board member of the Guilford County Substance
Abuse Coalition. She was also a member of the National
Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) in the Triad
area and served as the chair of the Sponsors Committee in
2005. Patsy also volunteered with Jubilee Jobs, a job
readiness program for ex-offenders.
Patsy earned her undergraduate business degree from Guilford
College. She is a certified as a Facilitator by Development
Dimensions International, has earned a Real Estate Broker's
license and volunteers as a sign language interpreter for
the deaf.
With Patsy’s appointment, David Moff will continue as Chief
Executive Officer.
