Experience and Expertise:
Jim has over 30 years as a professional in Human Resources. Formerly Vice President of Human Resources in manufacturing, Jim's experience includes automotive, textiles, chemicals, and construction materials. In various leadership roles, he has developed programs that included implementation of corporate strategies for the recruitment of executives as well as specialty hourly work forces, benefits design, and Best Practice safety programs, for corporate and field operations. His areas of expertise include recruitment, labor and employment law, safety, and management training and development.
With over thirty years of experience in recruitment and executive management with industries such as chemical, textile, construction materials, automobile, and industrial fixtures, Jim is recognized as one of the leading recruiters in the East. His recruitment experience covers advising senior management on long and short term staffing strategies.
Jim serves as an advisor for the Business Department Advisory Committee of the Surry Community College System and has participated on various Chamber committees for business development. As a volunteer for the United Way, Special Children's School, Middle School "Mentor Program" and various natural resources organizations he stays active within the community.
With a wealth of corporate experience, Jim brings an added dimension of expertise to the clients he serves as a Human Resource professional.
