Recent Assignments:
Most recently, Liz served as the Director of Community Affairs for the United Arts Council of Greater Greensboro. In this role, she developed and coordinated all communication efforts and served as a key member of the institution's strategic leadership team. Additionally, her experience includes serving as Board Chair for the Women's Resource Center and Co-Chair of the Greensboro Public Art Committee. As a qualified facilitator of the Strength Deployment Inventory since 2005, Liz combines her knowledge and experience with her passion for leadership and organizational development to help teams work together more effectively.
Experience and Expertise:
Liz Summers is an effective leader, facilitator and coach, having held a variety of leadership positions throughout her career. Her facilitation experience includes team building, sales, board development, succession planning, marketing/communications/public relations and volunteer management. Her 10 years of outside sales experience coupled with her 10 years of nonprofit experience position her as a unique and vital resource for a broad range of organizations. Leadership and organizational development have always been at the core of Liz's personal and professional pursuits as demonstrated by her various leadership roles.
