Experience and Expertise:

Michelle Bostian, LCSW has over 15 years experience as a therapist, consultant and a speaker. She presently has a private practice focusing on individual, couple and family therapy. Ms. Bostian's area of expertise is working with children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics specializing in issues such as relationships, grief, anxiety, depression, dementia, substance abuse and major mental illness.

Ms. Bostian combines her skills as a consultant and speaker to create national awareness for violence and bullying in the workplace and schools. She co-chaired the Character Education Committee at Jefferson Elementary School and was a leader in developing and training the Stomp Out Bullying Program that won the State PTA award for Building Self Esteem in Children and Adults. The Character Education Committee also won the National Promising Practice Award at the Character Education Partnership National Forum in Washington.

Education, Special Training and Certifications:

Ms. Bostian received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She also served on the Board for the Greensboro Mental Health Association.
