Mike Summers, Vice President, Recruiting & Business Development
Mike has 15+ years of experience in business to business sales, sales management, marketing and retained executive search recruiting in the healthcare field including medical device, pharmaceutical and consumer products.
He has a successful track record in both management and single contributor roles during the course of his professional career. The keys to his success have been his strong client relationships. Those relationships have been built around a true understanding of the clients business challenges/problems, the best solution to those challenges/problems and a level of trust with his client organization.
As a recruiter, Mike has experience working with both retained executive search and contingency recruiting. The majority of his experience has been in the healthcare and pharmaceutical arenas. In addition, he has worked with start up companies as well as a large Fortune 500 large corporation filling key strategic roles. Mike's strongest asset is his ability to work with each client to clearly understand not only what is needed for the position in terms of skill set, but also to understand what is critical to look for in terms of a solid cultural fit to the client organization.
Mike received his degree in communications from Wake Forest University. Mike, his wife and daughter reside in Greensboro.
