Patsy Wiggins is the co-founder of The HR Group, Inc. established in 2002. The goal of The HR Group was to provide human resource consulting to small and medium size companies who did not have internal HR support. 

Today the company has grown to more than 30 Human Resource professionals and trainers and serves small, medium and large organizations. The client base expands into South Carolina, Virginia and beyond. The HR Group's continued growth is a testament to their dedication and success in providing excellent service.

With an extensive background in Human Resources, Patsy began her HR career at a Greensboro-based manufacturing company. Since then, she has headed HR departments for financial institutions and hard goods manufacturing organizations.

Patsy earned her designation as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), the highest level of professional certification awarded by the Human Resources Certification Institute in 1995. She has served two different terms as President of the Human Resource Management Association of Greensboro, and has served on the North Carolina State Human Resource Council. In 1999, Patsy served as co-chair for the North Carolina SHRM Conference. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, its Consultants Forum and the HR Executive Forum of Greensboro.

Patsy currently serves on The Mayor's Committee for Persons with Disabilities, the Board of Guilford Cares, which is made up of members from the Guilford County Substance Abuse Coalition, the Mental Health Coalition and Developmental Disabilities.  She also serves on the Board for the Communication Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Patsy earned her undergraduate business degree from Guilford College. She is certified as a Facilitator by Development Dimensions International. In 2009 Triad Business Leader Magazine named Patsy a Woman Extraordinaire in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina.
