Experience and Expertise:

Ulinda Forehand is a consultant, speaker and facilitator specializing in leadership development and employee empowerment. Her 17 years of experience in training and development have prepared her to offer a wide array of training topics. She can design and cater a program for one-on-one coaching or for an audience of 100 or more. Ulinda also works with human resources, senior executives and other groups to link their efforts to business needs. She is an experienced front-line supervisor, manager and performance consultant. Ms. Forehand's dynamic and exciting approach to training leaves her audiences feeling equipped, energized and revived. Whether it is a one-hour speaking engagement or a 10-week workshop series, her use of practical applications, out of the box techniques and interactive simulations keeps you wanting more. Ulinda has worked with numerous Fortune 500 organizations including AXA Equitable, The Home Depot, PNC Financial Services Group and MBNA. Her knowledge encompasses financial services (mutual funds, insurance, college savings plans), retail, manufacturing and customer service.

Ulinda served as the 2005 President of the Charlotte Area Chapter of ASTD. Currently, she serves on the Mecklenburg County Displaced Homemaker Advisory Committee and the Executive Council for ASTD Charlotte. She is a member of ASTD National and is affiliated with the National Speaker's Association (NSA).

 

Education, Special Training and Certifications:

Along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from East Tennessee State University, Ulinda is also a certified professional. She earned her certification as a Performance Consultant from Langevin Learning, an international train-the-trainer institution. In addition, she is trained and certified by Building Better Boards, a comprehensive board development organization, to work with non-profit leaders, staff and board members.
